I haven't featured much ELOQUII before; I placed an order in the past and everything was for a woman taller and curvier than I. But after my post about the Kady Pant, I decided to make another attempt. This dress is a 100% winner. When busty, it's hard to find a shirtdress that doesn't gape between the buttons. This dress fits perfectly, not a single safety pin in the placket. The print is so fun, and I love the contrasting striped bow at the collar. I found more pieces that worked with my shorter stature and am psyched they're starting to carry petites. This won't be the last time you see me wearing ELOQUII on this blog!
The lipstick I'm wearing is Pantsuit Pink from the brand Beautiful Rights, a cause-driven makeup initiative. Beautiful Rights donates 20% of all sales (not profits) to the organization of your choice that support women’s rights and gender justice (the choices are Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, EMILY's List, Lambda Legal, Legal Momentum, and MomsRising). The 20% contribution was chosen as a reminder that women in the US are still still paid 20% less than men for the same work. All products by Beautiful Rights are paraben free, fragrance free, no animal testing, and made in the USA.
As for this coat, as you know from this post, I've been wanting a leopard faux fur coat. I'll delve into this coat more in an upcoming post, but it's a winner and a reasonable price. Super soft fur, well made, but the sizing is wonky. Read the reviews. I got an XXL and I could have sized down if I didn't want to wear over sweaters and bulkier styles.

Friday… what the heck did I wear on Friday? It was so long ago… Anyway, Saturday my husband had a wedding to shoot and I assisted. I wore black trousers from Talbots (right now sale is an additional 50% off so I got $120 pants for $30!), a black ribbed tank from Gap and a…
I’ve reviewed Everlane Denim for a size 14, and have worn several Everlane pieces such as the Everlane cashmere crew and cashmere lantern sleeve sweater and the Japanese GoWeave Short Wrap Dress. I hadn’t tried any jackets or blazers from Everlane and asked if they would send me their Oversized Blazer to review. How is…

Fabulous print mixing! And I love your photo settings. I have always thought that if I stepped into the world of blogging myself, I would make use of my city’s amazing array of wall art in the way you did with this post, so it was fun to see you do it!
Also, I am going to check out that lipstick. Sounds perfect from every perspective. Can you comment on how well it wears? I get annoyed by lipsticks that disappear quickly with a few sips of water or coffee!
So well timed; I just received my first Eloquii order and hopped over here to see if you had any reviews! My experience was hit and miss. Agreed that they are cut for a taller broad – at 5’4″ and a size 20 everything I ordered was too long in the torso and too broad in the shoulder. One dress and one top I’m paying to have altered, the other two weren’t worth it for the $$. Too bad, because the quality of every piece I ordered was excellent, and returning from Canada is a pain. I hope they expand the petite selection; it’s currently sort of slim pickings. For a taller, differently proportioned person I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them though.
You and that dress look great together! I have tried on a couple Eloqui items, maybe at Nordstrom Rack?, which were waaay too long for me, so excited to hear of petites.
i am hunting that awesome dress down posthaste!
You will love it!

I like it. it’s not super long wearing, but will survive my morning mug of coffee. It’s not drying either!
Thanks so much for your quick reply! If it survives that morning coffee, I’m in!

They said there will be more petites, I can’t wait and once they are out I’ll be sure to order some and review!

They say there will be more petites coming down the pike too!
You look so pretty in this dress. This is a dress that work well for more than one season.
Agreed, and without the ribbon with the neck unbuttoned a bit, or adding a belt it will give a completely different effect!
I have a very faux fur leopard coat I found thrifting. I hardly ever get to wear it though, as it is oddly un-windproof.
Faux fur is like mesh, it doesn’t keep the wind at bay like real fur. I felt the same today wearing this coat, it was windy and I was chilly!
That dress is stunning, Allie!!
And look at you mixing your prints! You look so happy!!
