I wore this suit to the Rebelle Con and showcased it in this blog post. It's an awesome suit but not really the thing I'd wear on a daily basis. When my friend Elizabeth invited me to a summer soiree she was hosting at the Omni Shoreham and the weather was a bit cooler than usual I was psyched… a great situation for this great suit!

REALM recently sent me this bracelet, earrings, and ring and I loved how the white suit made the pieces really stand out. Designed by Ann King Lagos, REALM jewelry is made from high-end materials (these pieces are sterling silver) and crafted with fine jewelry techniques. They really are works of art!

The dinner was lovely. If you are in the area, the Omni Shoreham is worth a visit. I had been before but never walked to the back terrace which overlooks a gorgeous (and quite large) garden surrounded by trees, creating an oasis in the Nation's Capital. Starting this month they will be having jazz in the garden every Thursday evening. These photos (other than the photo of my wrist) were shot by my friend Antonio. Can you believe he takes many of his photos himself on his iPhone? He has such a talent for styling!

  1. I really appreciate your blog for so many reasons- I think you where a huge reason we flew from MN to the Women’s March, you are the reason I have tried new clothing brands. and your lifestyle choices (such becoming a full time influencer and leaving your “day jog”) have peaked my interest. I am rooting for you! You looked so beautiful in this post I had to just send you a shout out. I am a super busy professional and mother and grad student. Right now time feels so limited but I love spending some alone time on a Saturday morning getting caught up on your weekly blog posts. You are making the digital world I want to spend time in better. Cheers to you.

  2. Did you tape the jacket to avoid an oops moment or did you find it stays in place? You look quite fab!

  3. Beautiful and elegant! That white suit may not be for every day, but how perfect for certain occasions like this. And that jewelry is the perfect complement.
