Marina Cosmetics Hydrating Lip Gloss in Sunkissed and Manila Mango (blended)

In honor of Earth Day, I tried out these lip glosses from Marina Cosmetics. They were lovely enough to send me some to sample (and I was going to visit them at Beauty 360 in Dupont Circle yesterday but got stuck in a lunch meeting). 🙁 Hope to get a chance to meet them in the future!

About Marina Cosmetics:
We believe that Natural is beautiful. Our mission was to create a product that not only looks and feels beautiful on your skin, but one that nourishes your skin with every silkening, softening, caress of color.

Our products were developed to bring natural, hydrating, anti-aging care to your skin. Natural Sea Minerals, Ecocert, and Certified Organic ingredients bring the best in “green benefits” to your skin.

We believe in the benefits of natural ingredients, and in formulations that conscientiously eliminate hazardous toxins. All products are dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, paraben-free, and are formulated with natural replacements for petroleum. Our products restore, renew, and refresh the skin naturally – just like the sea.

I really love the feel of these lip glosses. They have the slight powdery feel that you get with mineral-based lip glosses, but it's far creamier and the color is pretty potent. The glosses are very metallic, which would be awesome looking for evening, but I chose to blot for an office environment. The color lasted through my morning coffee and I didn't reapply until I was heading home at the end of the day. My lips felt soft and hydrated all day as well!

  1. Love the lip gloss! It looks so shiny but not “teenage glossed” (I’m betting you know what I mean, lol). Can’t wait to try it out myself!
