Day 2 of natural hair, again, I just brushed out the bedhead, but added a tiny bit of Neil George Detangling Spray to smooth down the craziest parts of the frizz. The past two days have been terribly humid, it rained last night and there's a good chance it will again today so there is no point in even trying to make a style. I'd like to train my hair back into curls so hopefully they can carry through into the dry fall and winter months.
This morning was tough; Emerson had a nightmare and I went to comfort her. When I got back to my room I decided to check my phone and realized it was five minutes until the Mars Rover touch-down. E couldn't have picked a better time to wake! So I stayed up for a while to experience it all and found it hard to get back to sleep. This morning I just grabbed clothes that were hanging to dry in the shower and this necklace was still out from Friday. And you know me, if all else fails wear leopard-print shoes!

Such a cute outfit! I have been noticing statement necklaces in this shape recently and they are beautiful. I’m hesitant to try one because I think it will look strange on my large bust… any suggestions?
Well I too have a large bust, I find if I wear the necklace on its longest length – if the chain has an extender I use it – that will give it enough length to not end up pooling between my breasts and be able to drape down and not stick out at the bustline 🙂

I wish my hair would decide. Thing is come winter my hair is flat an limp; I have to always have a cut that can adjust depending on the moods of my hair. 🙂
When the weather cooperates it’s easy. When it doesn’t it’s a weird tangled scary mess. I actually like when it’s humid because my hair acts nice and it’s low-maintenance 🙂

I *love* the natural hair — I wish more women would embrace their natural look. I can’t get a single hairdresser to understand that I don’t want to flat-iron my hair!!! They don’t seem to know how to cut or style hair anymore without the end result being straightened. Very frustrating.
