A fan of both Marimekko and Georgia O'Keeffe, when I saw this ELOQUII red floral jumpsuit I HAD to have it! A little bit Unikko print (which was my bedding for the longest time), a little bit Oriental Poppies, it's bold and cheerful and totally my style.
The fabric is a slightly stretchy crepe with the perfect weight to drape and flow over curves. A wide self-belt long enough to tie in a bow or a knot and not have it segment. And hello pockets! The back is two buttons with elastic loop closures, and then a zipper. I find I only need to open the top button to get it on and off, which makes it super easy when using the facilities.
When I got this jumpsuit, I tried it on with strappy black heels and loved the look. But for a more relaxed feel, I decided to style the jumpsuit for the blog with my latest pair of Rothy's flats. I loved my Red Camo pair so much I decided to buy a pair of plain black for spring.
Bold silver jewelry and my trusty ALLSAINTS bag as a crossbody, and I am ready for sight-seeing, brunch with friends, or most anything this spring!

Teal knit kimono dress from Target, pale aqua ribbed tank from Caslon underneath. Teal suede wedges from Seychelles. Silver, green and aqua earrings from Express. Hair was washed, conditioned, then a bit of Sebastian Mud applied to it wet. Blown dry while twisting sections and a bit of scrunching. Blew the bangs straight. Then took…
Oxford – Lands’ End Canvas Skirt – Talbots via eBay (similar) Shoes – Born “Myndy” Bracelet – Anthropologie (similar) Bag – Belonged to my mom (similar) Yesterday and today there is no A/C in our office, and my job requires me to be here in person to use certain technology. I don’t know what it is this winter but I’m really gravitating towards pastels. While fall I was all about merlot and pumpkin, now that it’s truly cold I want to bundle up in softer shades. And Comfort reached out and asked if I’d like to try their Fika Sweater. While available in black (which…
When Emerson was little, I didn’t understand why one would buy a baby cute clothes that were expensive. I mean, it was like a month and then the garment no longer fit! And then add to it spitup, pee, and regular washings, cute clothes weren’t worth it. Well Emerson is starting to walk, spends more…
What a difference a day makes! Look, I am HUMAN again! A bit browner, a bit slimmer (thank you Bonnaroo for making me walk so much!), tons more freckles, but back to Corporate Allie. When I got home last night I saw the retail gods were shining down on me, leaving a package of $14.99…
Dress: LOFT | Tights: Spanx | Shoes: Jessica Simpson | Bag: HOBO (similar) I picked this dress up about a month ago and love its easy one-step dressing. The dress is advertised as a mini dress so I went with a Regular Large to have more length. It’s sort of ponte, sort of sweatshirt material…
I love this jumpsuit, but have a question. I’m trying to decide how to ask it without sounding rude…I always wonder about how things go down when nature calls when you are out and about in a one-piece article of clothing…I just never want to be that close to naked in a public restroom….
I unbutton the top button and hold it around below my waist. Yep, I’m down to my bra in a bathroom, but that doesn’t bother me especially since this one is so easy to pull up and cover, even if the button isn’t yet secure. But that is one negative about jumpsuits.
I find pants that are shorter on me aren’t very flattering. Walking on my toes as a kid, I really built up my ankles and shins. While a shorter length will feature the slimmest part of most women’s legs, the opposite is for me. I found their denim cropped jumpsuit had the same length on me and I really liked it and wore it so much this past fall (and likely will this spring and summer) so decided to leave this one the same length! 🙂

It’ll be fun to wear once the snow melts!
I see that on the web site that the pants are shorter on the model. Did you consider having them taken up?

That red looks so good on you!
Thanks Michelle!
That is the cutest jumpsuit. It is so you. I’m a big fan of Marimekko and O’Keefe, too, and I can see the connection to the jumpsuit.
Thank you!
