Emerson is sick. Last night she told me her mouth hurt and pointed to the roof of her mouth. It looked okay, but she was sniffly. Throughout the night she was miserable, having nightmares, crying, snoring, sniffling, coughing. This morning it was painful waking her for he didn't seem to get restful sleep until around 4am, and well Mommy and Daddy had as restless of sleep as she. So this morning I literally grabbed random stuff from my closet, threw my hair in a topknot and headed to work without much thought.

I wish I looked more carefully, because I don't like this skirt. It's too short, it feels cheap on, and it was a poor choice for this crazy windy day. It's just not my style, and I should have examined my look more carefully before ripping off the tags. This skirt will most likely be swapped or sold… eh you live and you learn. Now I am off to get myself a very big cup of coffee…

Funny I was going to say I love the skirt! What size is it? :-). Then again since you are removing lbs I have found that skirts get a bit longer as the tummy shrinks so don’t strike it out just yet:-). Also try with opaque tights??

I love chartreuse, moss gold, acid green, and all those other greenish goldish colors big this season. Sure they look great with denim, black, brown, and navy but I’ve been styling the color with unexpected pairings and love the effect.
