Saturday was a big at-home day. I wasn’t feeling my best, so I did a lot of things like laundry, sorting through my closet, sorting paperwork, things I usually put off. The weather was also really gross – hot and thick and humid and like soup. That night I was supposed to assist my husband…
I know the headshot is a bit funny, it was taken by my sister and we were being goofy and I was holding two bottles of wine and we didn’t want me to look like a bad mom-to-be or a lush. 🙂 I did have a sip of Zinfandel (yummmmmm!) but stuck to water the…

Looking beautiful birthday girl !
Thank you!
I love that when you dress up for an occasion, you do it up! You probably looked like someone famous all ready for a night on the town! A maxi dress always makes for a glam look, but I too would have never considered it for a winter event. But, now that you mention all the layers of warmth you can hide underneath, then absolutely, I’d consider it. Looks like you two had a great romantic weekend. Much love to you both.
Aww thank you Sonia!! Hope you are healing nicely!
I LOVE the stole
Thanks Meghan!
Gorgeous outfit, and your makeup looks extra amazing in these photos.
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
Girl that outfit is smokin’ hot. I love that dress. How I missed this website, I do not know. is this a site you recommend?
eShakti? I’ve had mixed experiences with them. I think if I ordered with measurements instead of sizing I’d be happier. I recommend reading the comments in this post as many readers have bought from them and have amazing suggestions: http://wardrobeoxygen.shop/2016/12/eshakti-review.html
The green stole is a knockout with your dress!
Thank you!
Stunning!

Thanks Liv!
You are a beautiful butterfly, Allie!! What a perfect description!!
It’s funny, because I don’t see as many maxis in the winter, so the 3 of us just did a series on them. It’s nice to see you wear yours too!!

I love maxis in winter, you can hide tall boots, wool socks, longjohns and more!
