I’ve written about two of the four Stitch Fix boxes I’ve received thus far. The first two were… eh. The second two? Way better. I believe you get out of Stitch Fix as much as you put in. Regular communication with your stylist, plenty of feedback, regularly updated profile, and access to your Pinterest and…
Today is an Ann Taylor kid of day… The dress is a black matte jersey number I picked up at Ann Taylor last Spring. It’s a perfect guest at a wedding dress. The matte jersey can be dressed up or down, it’s a urplice neckline, seamed waist, a bit of gathers at the waist which…
What an icky foggy morning. I walked out the door and the air felt like soup. No wonder my hair was acting so crazy! The traffic was AWFUL because in the DC area, you can have a drop of rain and people are slamming on brakes left and right, skidding into medians and freaking out…
Back in 2014, reader Missy reached out and asked my thoughts about Dagne Dover bags. To be honest, I had never heard of the brand. I contacted Dagne Dover to see if there would be a time in the future when I could see the bags in person and they offered to send me a…
It’s not just the pavement that it wet – it is me who was running late and left the house with wet hair. I know, I despise when people do this and then I do it myself. Do know by time my sister dropped me off at the corner where my office building is located,…

sheesh, you guys are harsh on meyer. don’t need to put it down to make up for loving it. i am wishing she’d finish midnight sun.
My sister has the CD so she let me burn a copy. A great collection of music!
I read the series, all the while wishing that someone with the ability to write well had been gifted with that engrossing story. Despite my aggravation with Meyer’s apparent lack of a thesaurus, I have to admit the books were hard to put down.
I like the book, but I loooooooooove the cd. PJ is my fave. Glad you enjoy it too.
I was like you and held off on reading the books and then read them in a flash! I thought they were just great!
Huh! Snuck the books away from my teenage daughter and was immediately hooked. And I, an English Lit major….
I think the pages of Twilight are laced with cocaine, that must be why the books are so addicting.
Thanks for the heads up on Friday and wearing red.
“poorly written, juvenile, boring”
SO TRUE. But I read all four and loved them. 😀
Ahh…the Twilight fever! I was late to the party on this one too, but like you, I got hooked and once I started I could not stop reading! On book 4, I started reading it at about 10pm and at 5:30am when hubs got up for work he said “Have you been reading all night?!” Yes, I did. I finished it though, a few minutes later!
For sure! I wear reed every year for that and would be happy to spread the word! 🙂
what a cutie pie!
Hey Allie- quick favor to ask- could you maybe participate in the “go red” awareness campaign by posting about your intent to wear red on Friday for National “wear red for women” day- it’s to increase awareness to heart disease. I actually did a blog post about it over at my wardrobe blog- Would love to spread the word across the blogosphere! Wouldn’t it be cool if a bunch of wardrobe bloggers posted their red outfits for the occasion?
Thanks! And have a great day!
